No other products or lots were recalled. The problem occurred only with the products that contained rice. Although rice is a food suitable for dogs, rice high in aflatoxin is not.

Aflatoxin is produced by a natural fungus usually found in wheat, rice, and other grains.

Although lower aflatoxin levels are not dangerous, prolonged exposure or higher quantities can cause serious harm to animals.

If you’ve been feeding your pet any of the mentioned products, stop. If your pet experiences any of the following symptoms after tasting these products, take them to a vet immediately:

  • Stops eating

  • Has diarrhea
  • Moves slowly or doesn’t move at all

The customers who bought any of the listed products can turn to where they purchased them and get a full refund.
